Meet Courtney
Registered Dental Hygienist | AOMT-Certified Myofunctional Therapist
Courtney plays a pivotal role in our airway-centered approach to care at Siegert Dental. As a Registered Dental Hygienist and AOMT-certified Myofunctional Therapist, she specializes in identifying and treating orofacial myofunctional disorders (OMDs)—often the missing link behind issues like mouth breathing, poor sleep, jaw development concerns, and orthodontic relapse.
A Root-Cause Approach to Airway Health
Courtney’s work goes far beyond traditional hygiene care. She helps patients and families understand why symptoms are occurring—whether it’s improper tongue posture, dysfunctional swallowing patterns, or restricted oral tissues—and how these patterns impact breathing, sleep, and long-term health.
Through individualized therapy plans, Courtney helps:
- Guide proper facial and jaw development in growing children
- Improve nasal breathing and airway function
- Support more stable, long-lasting orthodontic outcomes
- Reduce symptoms like snoring, mouth breathing, and restless sleep
Compassionate Care for Lifelong Impact
Courtney is deeply passionate about early intervention and education—especially for families who may not realize how closely airway health is tied to their child’s development, behavior, and sleep quality.
Her approach is warm, supportive, and empowering. Patients don’t just receive therapy—they gain a clear understanding of their health and the tools to create lasting change.
Why It Matters
Airway health is foundational to overall wellness. When we address dysfunction early, we can influence how a child grows, how an adult sleeps, and how the body functions as a whole.
Courtney is proud to help lead this mission—bringing awareness, answers, and life-changing care to our community.
Courtney’s Mission:
Courtney’s goal is to help patients discover the root causes of their
dysfunction. By focusing on personalized therapy, she aims to address individual
needs, which can lead to appropriate facial development in children and improved
airway health in adults. Through her compassionate approach and expert guidance,
Courtney is committed to making a positive impact on the health and well-being
of our community.
As parents, we often focus on our children’s physical health, nutrition,
and education, but one crucial aspect that can greatly influence their overall
well-being is oral health, particularly airway dentistry. With
increasing awareness of its benefits, seeing a dentist trained in this
specialized area is becoming essential for ensuring not only optimal dental
health but also proper facial development in children.
